Description
Ingredients
Lemongrass is a herb native to Sri Lanka and South India, although it is currently produced in many countries across the world. The plant’s stalks are often used in Asian cuisine, but lemongrass may also be brewed to make tea. The East Indian and West Indian varieties are suitable for use in cooking and we at Blossom Tea have infused this with our traditional green tea.
Health Benefits
Lemongrass includes anti-inflammatory chemicals such as chlorogenic acid and isoorientin. So with the benefits of green tea like improved metabolism and weight loss, you will get the natural medicinal health benefits of lemongrass.
Taste Trivia
Lemongrass green tea has the freshness of the herb intact in it when you brew it in hot water. Add honey to it to bring in the sweetness that you will love to have again and again!
Brewing Method
Add freshly boiled to your tea infuser. Let it rest for 3 to 5 minutes so that the leaves release their aroma and taste in the water to give you a taste that will make you yearn for more.
Best Time Of Consumption
With the infuser coming to your rescue in place of tea bags, you can have your hot cup of green tea in the morning or evening after a good nap or a tiring day- that is the time when you want to feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
